Job description:
Work with children as young as 2 months old to 12 years old in our Kidz Club while their parents are working out in the facility.
Help create fun, and engaging activities and implementation of those activities.
Assist in Birthday Parties and other fun events like parents nights out.

Summer Aquatics Vacancies
Job description:
This is a seasonal position from May – Aug/Sept
The Lifeguard reports directly to the Aquatics Director. It is expected that this position meets or exceeds the standards communicated in this job description or communicated by the AGM, GM, CPO OR OWNER.
It is expected that Lifeguards are able to perform all the necessary duties and responsibilities of the position. They must meet or exceed all safety, cleanliness, operational, and professional standards set by the management.
Lifeguards are expected to set the example of best safety practices and the high level of customer service expected at The Shrewsbury Club.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain a safe, happy, fun swimming environment.
Address all concerns or issues they observe in a timely manner with the AGM or member of management.
Hold a current lifeguard/first-aid certification and provide proper, professional supervision of patrons at all times while on guard duty
Perform appropriate rescues and/or first aid in the event of an emergency
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be reliable and on time to all schedule shifts for which they are responsible.
Lifeguards are responsible for coordinating any substitution in their schedule and must notify the AGM or any changes.
LIFEGUARDS MUST UNDERSTAND WITHOUT THEM OUR POOL WILL NOT OPEN so a commitment to consistently turning up to their shifts and work is required.
Regularly check and maintain all safety and recreational equipment to ensure it is in proper working order. If something is not in working order, they must bring it to the attention of the CPO.
Maintain the cleanliness of the aquatics facility including the pool, deck area, changing rooms and equipment
Keep records of any chemical adjustments and check pool chemistry at least 4-6 times in day
Make chemical adjustments to the pool, only with the direct instruction of the AGM, General Manager or Certified Pool Operator
Provide a high degree of customer service for all members and patrons using the pool or Club
Fill out incident reports and file them with the AGM for record keeping
Have a HAPPY positive attitude and provide courteous and polite customer service at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Willingness to help with other necessary tasks at the pool as directed by the Aquatics Supervisor, AGM, GM or Owner.
Create and maintain a safe swim lessons environment. Address all concerns or issues observed in a timely manner with the AGM.
Have a positive attitude and provide courteous and polite customer service and instruction at all times.
Provide swim instruction in both group and private 1-on-1 settings.
Provide proper, professional supervision and instruction of students at all times.
Provide instruction at the appropriate skill levels from beginners to advanced swimmers of all ages, including adults.
Be reliable and on-time to all lessons or other scheduled shifts for which they are responsible. Swim Instructors are responsible for coordinating any substitution in their schedule and must notify the Aquatics Supervisor of any changes

Job Description:
Responsible for growing the net profitability of assigned tennis programming.
Accountable for meeting and exceeding all financial and participation goals for lessons, clinics, drills, teams, camps, and other programs.
Acquire new tennis business while retaining existing clients.
Consistently exceed client expectations for both service and instruction.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date court bookings at all times.
Work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Under the direction of the Tennis Director, schedule, administer, and supervise (as needed) USTA tournaments, practices, and matches.
Enforce all club policies for junior tennis staff, members, and guests.
Maintain current CPR & First Aid certifications.
Collaborate with the Tennis Director to prepare and implement contingency plans for inclement weather.
Other Duties & Requirements:
Maintain punctual, clear, and timely communication at all times.
Demonstrate a respectful, highly positive, and team-oriented attitude with clients and staff.
Actively and consistently promote club programming to increase member participation and retention.

Requirements:
Any applicant needs to have a minimum of 5 years of experience coaching baseball at a high level.
Any applicant must have a proven track record of growing a baseball program significantly.
It is Preferred if applicant has played at a collegiate level.

Job Description
Strong Part Time Supervising Accountant needed for The Shrewsbury Club.
The Shrewsbury Club is a health Club and Sports operation, and this position requires some flexibility in the schedule.
The position is Part time and will range in hours from approximately 15-25 hours per week.
This position is under the direct supervision or the Club Owner, General Manager, Assistant General Manager.
Staff Accountant duties will include:
Payroll auditing & submittal,
Accounts Payable,
Accounts Receivable with club software,
Unpaid and Collections management and resolution,
Expense supervision,
Assistance with budget planning,
Auditing of any area of financial reporting when needed,
HR personnel document auditing,
HR Ensuring all onboarding, disciplinary actions, sick time and vacation time is recorded correctly in a systematic and organized fashion.
General business accounting,
Working with owners CPA for taxes.
Weekly expense and payroll reporting for Dept Heads, AGM, GM & Club Owner
Creation & expansion of detailed GL line items to improve reporting of business
Billing and follow up on outstanding payments,
Timely delivery and resolution of technical issues;
Review management letter, reports, financial statements
Supervise and train bookkeeper (when & if needed).
Review and analyze client internal controls;
Complete all financial statements, footnotes, and supplemental information;
Perform compilation and review engagements;
