Competitive Teams

The SEGA competitive program at The Shrewsbury Club begins with an invite to our pre-team level. From there your athlete will progress through the XCEL levels from Bronze through the Sapphire Level.

The Developmental Program (DP) is a program that will return to SEGA in the coming seasons with the progressions of our Hot Shots program. This is also an invite-only program.

We follow USA Gymnastics guidelines and compete in USAG sanctioned competitions. Our competition schedule begins in November and continues to May. Depending on the level of athlete, the schedule will vary.

XCEL Program

The XCEL program starts with Bronze and continues to the Platinum level. This program offers athletes a lesser time commitment to training in the gym, while still having the opportunity to compete in USA Gymnastics-sanctioned competitions.

Each of these levels individually choreographs routines.
