Tiny Dancers (Ages 2-4)

An introduction to basic ballet movement, positions, and elements of dance. This class will help develop gross motor skills and body awareness. Development of social skills will be facilitated through games and other fun activities

Jazz & Ballet (Ages 5-7)

A mixed class of basic ballet and an introduction to jazz movements. Children will learn to piece movements together to form short combinations of choreography. Basic technique and movement will be enforced. Introduction to barre combinations and proper class etiquette

Jazz & Lyrical (Ages 8-12)

A combination class of jazz and lyrical designed for those with some dance knowledge. Proper technique and performance skills will be taught, and children will have a chance to explore both styles

Beginner Teen (Ages 12+)

Covers basic ballet technique and introduces the dancer to creative movement. Short pieces of choreography will be taught as well as encourage dancers to create their own. An opportunity for those interested in dance and want to try various styles

Meet the Instructor

Ashleigh began her dance career at 3 at the Dance Place Studio in Worcester, MA where she learned the fundamentals of ballet and tap. At the age of 5, she continued her career at Jazziaks Dance School in Boylston, MA where she studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and acro until 18. She also participated in their Irish step dancing program from age 5 until 12 where she participated in events like March Madness and regional competitions. She competed at regional and national competitions for 7 years in various styles where she received 2nd place overall regionally and 10th overall nationally. As a soloist, she earned top awards such as elite platinum. She went on to be part of the Assumption University competition dance team for 1 year and the game team for 3 years. She trained intensively with renowned choreographers in the pop and jazz style and performed for the university at games and rallies.
