Temporary GroupEx Schedule Changes (April-May 2026)

Restorative Yoga at 9:30AM on Mondays shifts to restorative yoga with Alicja at 9:30AM on Tuesdays for the next 6 weeks. Schedule will return to Mondays on the  25th of May.

All regularly-scheduled classes are complimentary as part of your membership, specialized clinics and workshops are additional.

Non-Members can participate in the regularly scheduled classes by paying Club guest fee of $20.00 per visit. (First-time Club visitors must also complete a liability waiver before joining a class.)

A high-energy indoor cycling class set to motivating MUSIC. Great for improving endurance and burning serious calories. Spinning will work your legs, glutes, heart , lungs and sweat glands like they’ve never been worked before! Once you experience your first Spinning class the feeling of community, satisfaction, success and not to mention sweat, will keep you coming back for more!

🔥 Strength Intervals

This ever-changing workout mixes strength training with timed intervals to keep your body guessing and your metabolism fired Up. You’ll build lean muscle, boost endurance, and never get bored. From circuit-style, Tabata style, muscle toning exercises using dumbbells, exercise bands, step, Bosu, medicine ball, and body weight. Each class brings its own unique challenges. No two class are the same. Members will improve cardiovascular stamina, core strength, and flexibility.

Meet Our Instructors:

Lori, Instructor (Mash Up)

Lori has been a Group Fitness instructor for over 9 years at the Shrewsbury Club. 

Her fitness certifications include; Les Mills Bodystep, Group Exercise Instructor, and Pilates. 
She is passionate about helping people she encounters through fitness. Lori has an energetic style of teaching and a fun personality. 

Alicja, Instructor (Restorative Yoga, Sculpt Yoga)

Alicja is a certified Vinyasa yoga teacher instructor who completed 200 hour Vinyasa flow teacher training with Joschi Yoga Institute in New York. And she has been teaching ever since.  When not teaching or practicing she is a stay-at-home mom to two energetic kids.

Chrissy, Instructor (Spin)

Chrissy is a certified indoor cycling instructor with a passion for motivating riders to push their limits and enjoy the ride. With over 25 years of experience, she brings high energy, great music, and a positive mindset to every class. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, Chrissy’s sessions are designed to challenge, inspire, and leave you feeling stronger.

Shannon, Instructor (Zumba, Barre)

Hi, I’m Shannon! I am so excited to be joining the Shrewsbury Club team! I am a new instructor who is teaching Zumba and Ballet Fitness (Barre). I have been a group fitness instructor for 8 years now. I am looking forward to high energy, music-based classes to make you sweat and smile!

Nikki, Instructor (Zumba, MixxedFit)

Nikki is a certified Zumba and MIXXEDFIT instructor with over 20 years of experience in dance and group fitness. Her high-energy classes blend music, movement, and motivation to create a fun and inclusive workout for all fitness levels.

Leila, Instructor

Leila is a certified Personal Trainer (FiTOUR), Group Fitness Instructor (NPTA), and Meditation Instructor (NPTA). In addition to personal training, she teaches group exercise classes at The Shrewsbury Club.

Her approach focuses on building strength, improving movement, and creating sustainable habits that fit real life. Leila has also completed Harvard Medical School Executive Education programs in Health and Wellness and Wellness Coaching.

She works with all fitness levels and emphasizes safe technique, consistency, and practical progress.

Emeka Egwuatu, Instructor

Emeka is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and former collegiate basketball player with a background in multi-sport athletics. In addition to personal training, he teaches group exercise classes at The Shrewsbury Club.

His coaching focuses on building strength, discipline, and confidence through practical, performance-based training. Emeka enjoys helping members stay consistent and reach their goals both in and out of the gym.
